NURSE Lucy Angel

The LA Face Academy was started in 2019 with the ethos that one-on-one training is the safest and most effective method to offer medical aesthetic training. This is still the ethos 6 years on. Lucy is registered with the Joint Council for Cosmetic Practitioners and is a member of the British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses and the British Dermatological Nursing Group. The CPD-accredited courses are also recognized by Hamilton Fraser Cosmetic Insurance.  

 

Lucy has been a Registered Nurse for 21 years, starting her career as a Maxillo-Facial Head & Neck Nurse before entering Medical Aesthetics in 2007, and then becoming an Independent Nurse Prescriber in 2016. She's trained others within the speciality for over 18 years. Lucy gained the BTEC Laser & Light Therapies in 2015, the Award in Education & Training (AET) in 2018 and a Master's Degree in Aesthetic Medicine with Distinction from the Queen Mary University of London in 2020. She guest lectured on Aesthetics for 5 years at the University of East Anglia (NMC V300 course) until 2021.

Lucy is currently a UK Regional Trainer for ReLife Aesthetics/Menarini Group. Among her influences are Dr. David Ecclestone, Dr. Mauricio de Maio, Dr. Vincent Wong, Dr. Ali Ghanem, Dr. Fanak Zandi, Nurses Lucy McGeough, Alison Telfer, and Mel Reccia.
